Safa Noorzai is a 16-year-old striker from Southern California whose combination of technical precision, athletic instinct, and competitive intensity has drawn attention at the highest levels of youth development in the United States.
Now competing for Beach FC ECNL U17 for the 2026-27 season under Coach Dan McCarthy, Safa has been recognized by scouts, coaches, and media as one of the most dynamic young forwards in the country. Coming off a 2025-26 campaign where he was named ECNL Boys Southwest All-Conference First Team, he was officially selected for the Afghanistan National U17 team after earning the Rising Star Award at the AASA Cup in New Jersey, where he scored 3 goals playing for Arman FC in front of AFG U17 scouts.
A proud Afghan-American, Safa's journey spans from the competitive youth academies of Southern California to international recognition with the Afghanistan National U17 program — a testament to the range of his impact and the breadth of his potential.
